Guineas

Despite their calm and gentle demeanor, these birds will raise a racket if anything foreign even thinks about entering your yard or farm. They are great allies to have if you do not have a dog to protect your garden or other animals. They are lively and alert birds with beautiful plumage.

French Pearl

The Pearl Guinea is the most common variety of guinea sold. They sport dark grey or black plumage with specks of white. These beautiful birds make the best watchdogs for your farm or yard. Considered one of the best domestic foragers, they will get rid of any tick or grub in your yard. They are lightweight birds, weighing 3 to 4 pounds. Females will lay approximately 100 small cream eggs a year. As keets, they will be tiny with brown down feathers and dark stripes on their backs. They will have orange beaks and legs.
